of NF-Approved French Breathalyzer kits either for on-sale in a
retail scenario or for use in-house within a commercial organisation
such as a transport or coach company.
Standard 0.05% - or Pro 0.02%?
Uniquely, AlcoDigital
offer two testing points - standard kits, that indicate a line at
0.05% (compared to the UK Drink Drive limit of 0.08% BAC) and also
the new Pro Kits, which offer a test point of 0.02% for
Professional, Commercial and Coach Drivers - who in France are
subject to prosecution at the much lower 0.02% "Zero Tolerance"
level.
Check the Expiry Dates
Unlike some boxed "twin packs", ALL OUR KITS are packed
individually with 1 x tube & 1 x bag in waterproof sachets with the
expiry date printed on each individual kit, not just the outside of
the box. This avoids a problem where once the box is opened, there's
no way to prove that the remaining kit is still in-date - thereby
rendering it useless.

Pro Kits are also useful in the UK
for any commercial organisation that operates under the 2006
Transporation Act,
 which
stipulates a maximum level of 9µg/100ml of breath - ie the same test
point of the Pro Kits' at 0.02% BAC.

How many do I need?
The absolute minimum is one device per vehicle, but most companies are
looking to provide at least two in case one is lost or damaged or the
driver decided to use it to make sure he's OK to drive. At least
one UNUSED device MUST be in the vehicle at all times. Should the
Police suspect a driver has been drinking, they WILL NOT ask the driver
to use his disposable kit - the Police will use their own, digital,
breathalyser.
